In recent years colleges and universities across the nation have experienced an increased demand from student, faculty and staff for enhanced security in and around campus properties. This includes electronic access control, emergency phones and towers, security cameras, panic alarms, early warning systems and a host of safety applications. Facility managers and public safety officials assigned the task of implementing enhanced security often find disparate technology among the facilities and face challenges in determining how to create a foundation for enterprise security standards. The purpose of this presentation is to help key decision makers understand the steps necessary to navigate these demands.

Learning Objectives:
1. Identify key stakeholders and discuss the core components required to develop a centralized security system.
2. Learn how to develop a security master plan to expand physical security systems.
3. Understand how disparate systems can be integrated to improve operations and enhance the student and employee experience.
