Have you heard about the fourth Industrial Revolution, or Industry 4.0? In the manufacturing world, Industry 4.0 is a name given to the current trend of automation and data exchange in that environment. We believe that the security industry is following a similar path. We are calling this revolution, "Security 4.0." As the Internet of Things takes hold, physical security systems communicate and cooperate with each other, with humans, and with other systems in the organization, in real-time. Throughout the customer journey, a security infrastructure with multiple sensors is deployed and from that infrastructure we are able to harness data and provide value to other parts of the organization. It is our experience that every security professional and every security company will face roadblocks on the road to the connected cyber physical security program. For example, are your connected devices cyber secured? Is your technology patched and up to date? During the presentation we will discuss these obstacles and share mitigation strategies that should be considered as solutions are implemented.

Learning Objectives:
1. Identify and understand potential obstacles to a connected program with respect to their security program.
2. Develop mitigation strategies to address various challenges and obstacles.
3. Describe the benefits of a connected cyber-physical security program.
