Whether its commercial buildings, malls, hospitals, government complexes or any other physical structure, the building infrastructure and its systems are now a legitimate target for cyber or combined cyber/physical attacks. In 2019, cyber/physical security professionals designed and executed an attack against a Class A commercial building. This presentation will highlight both the real-world risks and vulnerabilities, in plain English, for cyber-attacks against commercial facilities, and discuss the management and technical actions that can be taken to reduce these risks.

Learning Objectives:
1. Understand the nature and details of this cyber-attack and how this kind of testing can be helpful in protecting an organization.
2. Identify common risks and vulnerabilities to building control and automation, physical security, and IoT systems from cyber-attacks.
3. Plan steps to take to reduce the risks of a successful cyber-attack against commercial building systems.
