All counter-drone solutions have advantages, limitations, and drawbacks that must be considered based on their unique applications. This presentation prepares the listener to perform an airspace security risk assessment, evaluate counter-drone strategies, and select the optimal solution for their needs.

Learning Objectives:

-Understand the various types of drones and the threat they pose to various industries
-Be able to perform an airspace risk assessment
-Have a strong understanding of the stages of strategic drone security: detection, identification, and mitigation
-Be able to differentiate between the types of counter drone mitigation methodologies , e.g. kinetic,  jamming, signal substitution
-Understand how to select C-UAS solutions that are robust enough to detect and identify a wide range of hostile drones and intelligent enough to reliably separate friend from foe
-Learn how to select C-UAS solutions with reliability that fits their human & system resources and limitations
-Understand key issues around the legality and safety of drone threat mitigation
