This presentation will provide a market update on counter-drone technology and changes to legislation and innovation in 2018, including firsthand data analysis of drone activity collected from military bases, correctional facilities, airports (including outcomes from the Dedrone Airport Airspace Study 2018), and corporations. In addition to a market overview, the presenter will discuss the most pressing drone incidents of 2018 and early 2019, including the drone assassination attempt on Venezuela’s President Maduro and the Heathrow and Gatwick Airport shutdowns, lessons learned, and discuss how security leaders are utilizing drone detection data to create new protocol changes to protect assets and people.
