Security Implications of Drone Technology: Where Are We and Where Are We Headed?

As drone technology and its commercial applications continue to evolve, so do the security risks associated with their use. This presentation will cover drone technology and its current implementation, as well as the potential threats to organizations—from covert surveillance of corporate campuses, executive residences and individuals to delivery of weapons and other dangerous packages. Attendees will review information on how some companies are adopting the technology, including a firsthand account from a private foundation that uses drones in its operations. In addition, the session presenter will discuss anti-drone technology and present current strategies for protecting enterprises against drone-related security risks.
