Most security organizations today have their buildings and rooms secured with electronic access control and their IT network secured with firewalls, anti-virus and anti-malware programs, and these separate systems were installed by the best integrators they could find. However today, sophisticated attackers are using a cross-platform approach to exploit the cracks between physical and IT security systems to attack the enterprise.  This session will educate security practitioners on established and emerging standards and regulations that must be in place to build a secure physical and logical hybrid system.

Learning Objectives:
1. Review technologies that must be in place to adhere to major compliance standards including, HIPAA, SOX, GLBA and PCI.
2. Observe access control standards that enhance security for physical access control devices including, SIA OSDP, and PSIA PLAI.
3. Articulate cybersecurity standards and best practices that enhance the cybersecurity between the physical and logical interfaces including NIST Frameworks and Cloud Services Standards.
