Workshop attendees will gain a rich understanding of the kinds of issues affecting video surveillance networks. Issues can range from inadequate design, misconfiguration, and system decay. Session instructors will review the life-cycle of troubleshooting issues, the nature of the underlying systems and the symptoms of failures. Students will determine breakdown common failures and tricky scenarios that require systemic methods for diagnosing effectively.

Learning Outcomes:
1. Determine issues affecting surveillance networks
2. Practice efficient measurement and monitors that are important for maintaining surveillance networks.
3. Upon completion, participants will have a methodology and recipes for diagnosing common troublesome problems in surveillance networks.
